About me

Born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1970 my fascination with special effects began at a very young age.  By age 13 I was making stop-motion movies with my trusty Bolex Super-8 camera.  A few years later my passions focused on SFX Make-up, which lead to a fledgling career creating prosthetics make-ups and animatronics. Then in 1993 the release of “Jurassic Park” shook the very foundation of what I believed was possible with CGI so I promptly set out to learn all I could about this technology.  After working for several years in broadcast and games for local companies I made the move to Los Angeles in 2001.  Since then I have enjoyed an exciting career in visual effects for feature films and television working with amazingly talented and dedicated people.  My current position as VFX Supervisor at Crafty Apes presents daily challenges and is never boring. What more could you ask for in a job?
